Baby & You Child and Family Health Nurses provide comprehensive postpartum care and support to families during the early months following childbirth. Our services are designed to extend the exceptional care specialists offer, ensuring parents receive the continued support they need after leaving your practice. We can support families until their child is 3 years of age.
Founded to meet the need for more personalised services complementing existing community health support, our Registered Child and Family Health Nurses deliver the compassionate, expert in-person and online care your patients deserve. Our Services include:
We offer telehealth support and in-home visits across Sydney to assess the health and well-being of both the parents and the newborn. Our personalised support is tailored to each family's unique needs and ensures a smooth transition from hospital to home.
Empowering new parents with practical advice and guidance on key topics such as infant sleep, nutrition, and early childhood development. We equip parents with the knowledge needed to care for their baby with confidence.
We assist mothers with breastfeeding techniques, addressing common challenges, and ensuring a positive experience. We also provide support with bottle feeding and introducing solid foods, ensuring every family receives the guidance they need.
We recognise the emotional challenges that can accompany the postpartum period. Our services include screening for postnatal depression and anxiety, along with referrals to appropriate mental health services if needed. We are here to support maternal mental health and overall well-being.
We collaborate closely with GP's, paediatricians, mental health professionals, and other specialists to ensure families have access to the full spectrum of care they may need. We connect families with local resources and support groups to help them build a strong support network.
